• Business Transfer: In the unlikely event of a merger or acquisition

7. International Users

YummJar is operated from the United States. If you're using our service from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and stored in the US. Additionally, recipe content is processed by AI services (OpenAI) located in the United States for text analysis and enhancement features. We comply with applicable international data protection laws, including GDPR for EU users.

YummJar uses Firebase Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how users interact with our app and improve your experience. We collect:

• Account creation and trial conversions
• In-app purchase completions
• Feature usage (shopping lists, image generation, sharing)
• Error occurrences for debugging

Analytics data is processed by Google Firebase Analytics and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. This data is:

Analytics tracking is only active in production versions of the app. We do not track analytics during development or testing.

• OpenAI: AI-powered recipe text analysis and enhancement (US-based processing)

Note: AI processing services (OpenAI) and analytics services (Google Firebase) are located in the United States and operate under their own privacy policies. We have no control over their data retention or processing practices beyond our contractual agreements.

11. Cookies and Tracking

Our mobile app does not use cookies, but our website may use minimal cookies for essential functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. We'll notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of YummJar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
