Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your YummJar account and data.

This action is permanent

Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered. Please make sure you want to proceed before requesting deletion.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and login credentials
  • All your saved recipes
  • Your categories, tags, and organization
  • Shopping lists and preferences
  • Any uploaded images

Option 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly within the YummJar app:

  1. Open YummJar and go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to the Account section
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm your decision when prompted

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you can't access the app, you can request account deletion by email. We'll process your request within 7 business days.

Please include in your email:

  • The email address associated with your YummJar account
  • Confirmation that you want to delete your account and all data
Request Account Deletion

Active Subscription?

If you have an active subscription, please cancel it first through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) before deleting your account. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription billing.

Data Retention

After deletion, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes but cannot be linked back to you.
